My name is Michelle Jinnette. Who am I?

I am first and foremost a Follower of Jesus. I am a wife, mom and a very proud Army Brat! I grew up in many places and around all kinds of people. We moved about 25 times or more (I lost count haha)

I loved travelling so I volunteered as a mission worker with Youth With A Mission and Mercy Ships for 3 years after high school. I spent those 3 years living on board the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship with 400 people from 20 plus countries! I loved meeting all the new people and sharing the love of God to the people when they came to get free treatment from the doctors and dentists who also volunteered their time.

After that, I came back to the states and went to college and got my degree in International Studies. I also met my husband there. We spent the next 25 years in different places and raising 2 boys. I homeschooled the boys for 10 years then they went to the local middle and high school so they could play sports.  Our boys are grown and both are married to wonderful and Godly young ladies. 

It has only been in the last 10 years that I have been really aware of politics and have become more involved. If you are like me, you have become increasingly aware of the corruption in our media and political world and aren't quite sure what to do about it. I was able to travel with my husband for the last 3-4 years for his work but he has decided to change careers so I am also asking God what I need to do next. Which has brought me to podcasting. I am determined to do my part and speak up. I have a passion for truth and a love of this great nation, America. I believe our schools no longer teach our kids to love this nation but only teach how they think this nation is bad.  I also love history and I want to share the unique and wonderful stories of how this nation was founded by ordinary people doing extraordinary things. It was because of their love of freedom and God that we get to live in the greatest nation on earth!!

So, thank you for following me this past year and I am excited to see what the new year holds!!
